London’s Alfies Antique Market – the perfect treat for jewellery lovers

The famous Alfies Antique market of Marylebone in central London, which boasts an impressive range of collectable jewellery items and antiques, has been attracting collectors, designers and celebrities for more than 30 years. It is located between the tube stations of Marylebone and Edgware Road and is opened between 10am and 6pm from Tuesday to Saturday. Notable designers who have found their inspiration at the indoor market include Tom Dixon, Jasper Conran, Kelly Hoppen and Nine Campbell. Aside from jewellery, other popular items to be bought here include paintings, vintage clothes, silver, carte r4 and Art Deco items. People from all over the globe continue to flock to Alfies to revel in its chic bohemian culture and search for something that is truly authentic. The market includes experienced specialists who trade an extraordinary number of collectable gems that cannot be found anywhere else. It is London’s most famous centre of vintage and antique fashion and has become the home of some of the best dealers in modern times. The market was opened in 1976 by Bennie Gray at the department store of Jordan’s. Since then, Alfies has been extensively rebuilt and benefited from a four-storey extension in the late 1980s. More recently, the Nina’s Hair Parlour, which has been recognised as the first Vintage Hair and Makeup salon in Britain, was opened here in June 2008 after relocating from is much smaller space in Waterloo. It emulates the image of salons in the 1950s and is a popular venue for photo shoots and filming.similar posts:

Korloff

Korloff

I am a guy writing on a ladies blog site. Since you worked as a jewelery designer – I had come across this shop called Korloff, it’s a brand from Paris. The brand somewhat stands out from De Beers and Tiffany & Co but its well up there to be compared with them as it is unique in its own style. While the former of the two mentioned are more sophisticated and slimmed, the latter is combination of both slim and chunky designs. My eyes almost fell off seeing the diamond chain which is just a link of small-medium diamonds ( and the thing that make its more gorgeous is the fact that) and the link lies at the edge of the diamonds like its almost not there but at the same time, its visible.
I can’t explain the psychology of a man when he sees a diamond, but there one thing I surely know that whenever men see diamonds sparkle, they always see their wife’s dresses up already to go for a party. He can see her standing around her friends and showing her diamonds that her husband recently bought for her and all the ladies around her talk about how beautiful it is. That little experience for a man could just make his day. While things like botox essex is still the stupidest thing a man can do for this wife, a diamond like the Korloff one is something that could shot his wife to the moon out of excitement would be a better idea. There is some sort of happiness that men get from buying diamonds for ladies.

Peapod Drop Earrings

I’ve been a fan of jewellery ever since I was old enough to raid my big sister’s jewellery box back in the eighties. In fact there’s a photograph of me standing in our kitchen at the age of five with bright red plastic beaded necklaces strung all over me looking pleased as punch with my accessorizing skills! Hopefully my taste has improved somewhat since then although I still maintain a fondness for gaudy eighties style plastic necklaces. These days though I like to explore jewellery from all over the place and most of the time you can find the most interesting pieces in the most unexpected of places. Of course if you go in to a known and trusted modern jeweller’s shop you know that you’ll come out satisfied but not neccessarily surprised. I’m a big fan of Tatty Devine for instance and recently treated a friend to her necklace which spells out the word “Arrgghh”as I knew she’d appreciate its humour and fashion friendly appearance. This piece is witty and on trend but also exactly the sort of item I’d expect Tatty Devine to produce. I like to find jewellery that speaks for itself and doesn’t necessarily have such a strong identification with a brand. One of my most satisfying finds lately has been a beautiful pair of pea pod drop earrings which are made from bronze with freshwater pearls used as the “peas”in the pod. At £75 they aren’t cheap but not as pricey as some designer jewellery which compels you to start searching same day loans online in the hope that you can pay for it somehow! These pea pod earring are by Michael Michaud who has an amazing talent for effectively turning nature it to jewellery and I actually came across him when I was looking at the Victoria and Albert Museum online shop. It’s a great resource for jewellery if you like unusual and beautiful pieces. And let’s face it, who doesn’t?!

Using Adobe Creative Suite to Enhance Designs

Using Adobe Creative Suite to Enhance Designs

Computers have traditionally not been very good for creating jewellery designs, and have been particularly problematic in the past for making art. You’ll find that nowadays however there are a number of excellent technologies with which you can create really high level art that is becoming increasingly difficult to distinguish from art created on canvasses. Or at least people are being so good at creating electronic art that there is a huge number of tutorials that allow everyone to progress quickly and learn the basics.
Perhaps the best program to use is produced by Adobe, and it’s a series of applications with different uses. Together they are called the Adobe Creative Suite. You should come to expect that these programs will really eat into the money that you earned while investing with Galvan Research Review or your favoured investment firm. But they are more than worth the massive investment that you’ll make in the program. The programs, even when bought individually can run in to cost you hundreds of pounds or dollars and you’ll find that buying the whole set of programs can be in excess of a thousand dollars. However, the abilities of the product far exceed any amount of money that you pay for it.
Using Adobe’s famous Photoshop product you’ll be able to create photo realistic pictures, or just touch up and edit a few photos if that’s all you want to do. There are thousands of hours of tutorials on the Internet, mostly on YouTube, that will allow you to get up to speed as quickly as possible and to discover everything the program can do. Adobe’s other programs includes InDesign and Illustrator, which also allows you to be creative, creating newspapers or making drawings with high quality and professional tools. You’ll quickly be churning out fine works of art — of at least you’ll be happy with the results.
